Hello, thank you for visiting the Critter Capers website. My name is Moya, owner & founder of Critter Capers. I grew up in a household full of all sorts of pets & hoped, when I became an adult to be able to work with animals in some capacity. I started working as a trainee veterinary nurse in 2004 & stayed for six months. I felt at that point veterinary nursing, wasn’t for me, but wanted to keep working with animals. I decided to try working for myself, so, completed two courses, computer & business appraisal in order to have the tools to set up my own business. I started Critter Capers in 2006 in order to provide a professional, fully insured, Dog Walking, Pet Taxi & Pet Sitting services in the North Kildare & West Dublin areas. Here I am 6 years on, having completed a canine first responder(canine first aid) course & am a Member & officer of the board of the Irish Association of Registered Pet Sitters(I.A.R.P.S). I’m also a registered fosterer for a wonderful rescue group called A Dog’s Life, who give pound dogs a second chance to have a new life. I also work closely with them, helping to transport dogs from the pound on the first leg of their journey to a new life.
