The main time being when my poor little dog Millie had an accident and needed immediate medical care. Even at the last minute Moya was there for me and helped me transport my poor little doggie to the vets. She was so compassionate and caring I couldn't think of anyone better to have been with me that day! Moya really makes sure your pet is well taken care of when you're away, she'll spend loads of time with your pet so they don't get lonely and checks in on them regularly. One of the most thoughtful things I've seen is when she left the radio on for Elvis one time I was away so he'd have the sound of voices to keep him company when she wasn't there! I have never been disappointed and it's great to know your furry friend is so well looked after by someone who truly loves animals....even a cat as troublesome as my Elvis :) I have since recommended Critter Capers to my next door neighbours who have also been delighted with the service they have received. Moya is a big hit with our hound (Meenagh), almost more than us!!! When Meenagh sees Moya's blue van coming towards the house she leaps with joy and barges past anyhting in the way to get to Moya and friends who are waiting outside!! After a long walk Meenagh returns home for bowel of water and a few hours kip!! We are so happy that Meenagh has a great time when we are at work and we don't have to worry about her. She came to our house twice a day, took them for walks, fed them, played with them and she fell in love with them and they with her . I don't think they cared if we never came home again. Moya came into our lives at a point where we were going through enormous upheaval. Jack had just been adopted from the dog pound and needed lots of attention but a family bereavement threw everything into chaos and Jack's future into question. But...just like in all the best fairy tales, along came Moya, recommended by my vet, and she is now a vital part of our lives, taking Jack out for walks with his canine pals twice a week. She has worked on his behaviour, his socialisation, and he is just a very happy fellow. She really cares about her charges and their owners, and I cannot recommend her too highly. Moya knows just how he likes everything to be done, she also gives him cuddles and strokings when requested. Moya also acts as his chauffeur when he has to visit his medical consultants (TT does not use the word "vet"). TT's staff are glad to know that he is looked after in a befitting manner during their (infrequent) absences - if he wasn't happy, they'd never get away! Moya called to the house during the week to clean out her cage and feed her and she also just called to say hello to her so she wouldn't get lonely! One of the days she arrived to find some birds had got down my chimney and made a mess in the sittingroom and she even cleaned up all that for me, which was definitely above and beyond the call of duty! Her rates are extremely reasonable and she is very reliable. They are extremely trustworthy and flexible and to say my dogs love Moya would be an understatement. The service is very professional and conscientious but most important to me, thoughtful. Moya has great regard for the animals she provides a service to, and it's very obvious she cares about them a great deal. She knows my two like the back of her hand, and I know this to be true of the other dogs she works with from talking to her. | 5.0 (out of 5) User: Triona | The best Pet Services in West Dublin and Kildare. Critter Capers has looked after Scamp, a small Westie with a big attitude for years now. I am with Moya for years as i totally trust her with both my dog and house keys. Moya is just a lovely person who loves animals. Scamp is walked twice a week, for a full hour, I know this by how tired he is on his walk days. He loves Moya, ignores me when she is around. Moya always dries him if he is wet, tries to clean him when he rolls (constant) and ensures he has fresh water before she leaves.
